Ben previously served as counsel on the House Judiciary Committee’s Democratic staff. Before that, he was an associate at Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison LLP.
Ben earlier completed a Bristow Fellowship in the Solicitor General’s office at the U.S. Department of Justice. While there, he successfully briefed and argued a case in a federal court of appeals. Ben also clerked on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit and on the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia.
Ben’s academic writings explore the Federal Vacancies Reform Act, the Bipartisan Legal Advisory Group, and other public law topics.
